Applied across everything we build

AI transformation, built into the engineering — not bolted on.

We treat AI as a layer that makes embedded devices, PCB-based products, and software platforms smarter — not a fourth, separate offering competing with the other three. It's applied wherever it earns its place.

Why it matters

Most "AI-enabled" products aren't, really.

Adding a chatbot to a dashboard, or a buzzword to a pitch deck, isn't AI transformation. Useful AI needs clean data, a real integration point, and a specific decision it's meant to improve — a maintenance alert raised earlier, a defect caught before assembly, a report generated without a person compiling it by hand.

Because we already build the hardware, the firmware, and the software for a product, we're positioned to add AI at the layer where it actually helps, instead of wrapping it around a system we don't understand.

Where it fits

Layered across all three service lines.

Embedded & IoT

Predictive maintenance & anomaly detection

Sensor and telemetry data analysed to flag drift or failure before it happens, instead of waiting for a hard fault.

PCB Design & Assembly

Vision-assisted inspection support

Image-based checks that help catch assembly defects earlier in the process, alongside standard board testing.

See PCB Design & Assembly →
IT Services

Intelligent dashboards & copilots

Dashboards that summarise and explain data in plain language, and internal copilots that answer questions instead of requiring a manual report.

See IT Services →
Applied at platform scale

Data pipeline & workflow automation

Reporting and MRV-style pipelines — as used in GrassGuards — that turn raw satellite and sensor data into a decision without manual assembly.

How we approach it

Four steps, not a black box.

AI work fails quietly when it's rushed straight to a model. We start with the data and the decision it needs to inform.

Stage 1
Audit the data
Understand what data your device or software already produces, and how clean and complete it is.
Stage 2
Define the decision
Pin down the specific alert, report, or action the AI layer is meant to improve — not AI for its own sake.
Stage 3
Integrate
Connect a proven model or service to your existing hardware or software rather than building one from scratch.
Stage 4
Validate & hand over
Test against real data, document how it works, and hand it over in a form your team can maintain.
Common questions

About AI transformation.

Is AI a separate service, or does it come with a hardware or software build?

Both. It's a layer we can add to any of our three core service lines, or scope as its own advisory and integration engagement on a system you already have.

Do you build custom models, or integrate existing ones?

Usually integration — connecting proven models and platforms to your device or application data — rather than training large models from scratch, which keeps cost and delivery time realistic.

Can AI be added to a product you didn't originally build?

Yes, as long as we can get access to the data it produces — sensor streams, logs, or a database — we can layer analysis, alerts, or a copilot on top.

Have a system that's ready for an AI layer?

Tell us what data your product already produces. We'll tell you what's realistic to build on top of it.
